Blairwood's Adaptive Swim Program is a special swim instruction program led by Blairwood SwimAmerica coaches who have been trained and certified by Swim Angelfish® and armed with SwimWhisperer® Adaptive Swim Toolbox.

This effective and ideal method teaches swimming skills to swimmers of all abilities, including those with special circumstances, such as:

Autism
Anxiety
Down Syndrome
Physical Limitations
Learning Delays
Sensory and Motor Coordination
Trauma
Discomfort in the water

Our Adaptive Swim Program instructors are trained to identify roadblocks and implement therapy-backed strategies to overcome them. Armed with the Swim Whisperer® toolbox of strategies, the Swim Angelfish®-Certiified Instructors assist swimmers of all abilities overcome obstacles and learn to swim with less discomfort.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If your swimmer will be absent for a class, you must provide at least 24 hours notice or you will be charged the full amount of the lesson. Notice must be provided to: 1) Sophie Graham in the Swim Office via email, and 2) your Swim Instructor. You should check with your Swim Instructor to identify the best method of communication for them.Cancellations must be made 48 hours before the first class/clinic/league is held. There will be a $50 processing fee for any cancellations. A Club credit will be issued for the balance. No refunds.
